Behind the Camera Talk

On Monday evening, I did an interview with Brad Shifflett from Behind the Camera Talk. I got an opportunity to talk about being a member of Sarah Petty's Cafe Joy program. It was so much fun! I can't say enough about how great Sarah and the Cafe Joy staff are. Thanks to Cafe Joy and Brad for an amazing opportunity.
Here's the link to the audio of the interview. http://www.behindthecameratalk.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=56:013-sara-knigh-direct-mail-home-vs-retail&catid=34:feeds&Itemid=57

Blues and Jazz

Head on down to Creekside this weekend, June 19, 20, and 21 for the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival. Lots of great music, food, vendors, and rides for the kids! Unfortunately, we won't be around for the festival this year. It's such a great event. We hate to miss it!

The Speas family came in for a session a couple weeks ago. We love them! Their kids are so playful and fun, and it was so exciting to meet their newest family member. She's cute as a button!

GNO Pics!

Here are some images from our great Girls Night Out event on May 7th. It was an amazing night with great weather, lots of people, and some pretty cool products from the vendors. We had to close and lock the front door at 3:30 p.m. as people started lining up. By 4 p.m. when we opened the doors, there was a line of about 25 people. Needless to say, the gift bags didn't last long. All 50 of them were gone by about 4:30 p.m. The delicious food provided by Mezzo was also pretty much wiped out by the end of the night as well!

After the event, a group of us buzzed over to Mezzo for some drinks and delicious pizza. Nothing like sitting outside on the patio at Mezzo, listening to the fountain with great friends!

A super big "thank you" to the vendors who participated. Gahanna businesses and business owners are truly the best around! We especially want to thank the vendors in our studio.

1154 Lill Studio with their totally unique and adorable handbags.
The Candle Lab where you can pour custom-scented candles.
Jewels by Park Lane which is where most of my jewelry comes from!
Heather Reese who has amazing artistic talents that I don't have.
Sound Touch Massage Therapy-need I say more? Massages are the best!
Tastefully Simple with amazing quick and easy products to simplify your dinner plans.
Out of the Ordinary and their super fun gift items for everyone!

Because of the huge response we received, there were additional vendors at Honey Grove Botanicals where they had their own chair massages by Holly from Center for Therapeutic Massage and Kelly from Usborne Books had some great items on display as well. I even heard there were cosmic cupcakes at Zodiac across the street from Honey Grove!
